It is no secret that I love Italian architecture. The windows intrigue me whether small or large. Even the simplest of old homes often have a lovely little window overlooking the garden or vineyard. The small window of a home I visit in Naples was my point of inspiration for Mediterranean Sunset.
I found some large open link quatrefoil pieces and these are used as the base/frame for the focal piece. Now I know we could use CRAW to make a stand-alone quatrefoil but I love the look and drape of Double St. Petersburg Chain (St. Pete’s). However, while working with St. Petersburg chain, I have not been able to make it stand alone in the shapes I want. It can be curved but I find for making complicated shapes, it needs an armature.
